Chad, a Certified Financial Planner, is founder, managing member, and senior financial advisor at Columbia River Financial Group. He brings with him almost three decades of experience as a financial advisor. Chad earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Kent State University in 1993. He enjoys volunteering in both the local community and traveling with client volunteers. He and his wife Jordan also enjoy the Northwest outdoors, golf, fishing, and spending time with their kids, Hanna, Hayden & Vivian.

Mike is the firm’s chief compliance officer and a senior financial advisor. He is a Certified Financial Planner and has worked in the industry since 2004. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health and a Certificate in Gerontology from Oregon State University in 1989. Outside of work, he enjoys camping and many other outdoor activities. He lives in Sherwood, Oregon with his wife Amy and their Mini-Aussie.

Kate is a senior financial advisor with Columbia River Financial Group. She is a Certified Financial Planner and started in financial advising in 2010. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Pacific Lutheran University in 2000. Kate supports various charitable organizations in Clark County and enjoys cooking and traveling in her free time. She lives in Vancouver, Washington.

Derek is the portfolio and client services advisor at Columbia River Financial Group. He received an Associate’s Degree in Television Broadcasting from Mohawk College, and spent 13 years in television post-production. He has worked in the financial industry since 2008 and is an Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor. During his free time, he supports local charities and enjoys curling and ice skating with his children. He lives in Milwaukie, Oregon with his wife, Kara, and their two daughters.
